Call for proposals: Vocational training partners for Ese-Tonia’s EmpowerHer Future Programme.

Ese-Tonia Foundation invites qualified training vendors, artisans, and vocational institutions in LAGOS STATE to partner with us in delivering skills acquisition training under the EmpowerHer Future Programme and initiative focused on empowering widows.

Areas of training:

1. 1. Tailoring and fashion design.
2. 2. Hairdressing.
3. 3. Baking, pastry making and catering.
4. 4. Make up artistry
5. 5. Event planning and decoration
6. 6. Jewellery and accessory making
7. 7. Shoe and bag making
8. 8. Digital marketing and brand management

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a registered business, training centre, or organisation in Lagos State, Nigeria.
• Must have a business bank account.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in the relevant field.
• Proven record of training women and vulnerable groups.
• Ability to host practical hands-on sessions.
• Willingness to collaborate with the Foundation for monitoring and evaluation activities.

Submission requirements

• Cover letter stating interests and area of expertise.
• Completed application form.
• Company profile and registration documents.
• Training methodology and proposed duration.
• Budget estimates per trainee
• Two References from past training engagements.

Key dates:

• Submission deadline: 09 January 2025
• Phase 1: notification of outcome: 6 - 12 January 2026
• Phase 2: Training centre site visit: 14 - 16 January 2026
• Phase 3: Interview – 20 January 2026
• Phase 4: notification of successful vendors – 22 January 2026
• Onboarding and Orientation – 24 - 28 January 2026
• Training commencement – 1 February 2026
